| 内容記述 | Mangu-Timur, Khan of the Golden Horde, issued silver Dinar coins with Chinese legend 済国恵民 as commemorative coins. In 1264, Kublai Qa’an gave a pair of red seals to Berke and Hulegu. It seems to be that the seal given to Berke was engraved with Chinese legend 濟國惠民之寶. These coins were manufactured on the orders of the Sarai mint director, who was a Han’er, or a broken Chinese speaker. And then, it is thought that coins were given to Mangu-Timur’s subjects and the heads of vassal states. |
